Super Tuesday: An Eco-friendly Reminder
The 2008 presidential candidates are scurrying to woo the last remaining undecided voters tonight as 24 states prepare for Super Tuesday, the nation’s largest primary. After a full year of campaigns, commercials, and endless debates over Iraq, health care, and, yes, the environment, it’s finally come down to four republican and two major democratic candidates. The Grand Ol’ Party’s John McCain is in the lead, with Mitt Romney nipping at his heels. Mike Huckabee, even with the mighty Chuck Norris on his side, is placing a distant bronze, and Ron Paul is hardly on the charts. It’s an even closer race on the democratic side, with Hillary Clinton barely inching ahead of Barack Obama.
